Are people actually single
Are thier a lot of single people in greek life? I have a quiet a few friends who are in college and not one of them is single. I am not taken as but 80% of my friends are . My older sister informed me that no one other then freshman is single in college. From what i see from my friends I would say this to be true. Is this the same in greek life? do you have any single people? I am not talking about people who are in under 19, but it is ushally rare to find someone who is 20 and single. Is it like this in greek life? I am single and want to join a sorority but to you take girls who don't have a releationship?

You definitely don't have to have a boyfriend to be part of Greek life. Some people might actually consider it a negative if you are in a relationship.
I don't know where your older sister goes, but unless it's BYU, she's dead wrong. |
First, I sand otheres dont know what You mean by single? Married, dating, steady with one person.
Second, go to the edit button and respell many of Your wording.:) ;) |
Your post suggests that you need to do quite a bit more research on greek life. If you are already in college I suggest finding information through your greek life office, and if you are still in high school I would wait until you know for sure what college you will be attending and then research the greek life at that particular place.
You are making sweeping generalizations about greeks and greek life which can be very dangerous. Of course not every sorority girl has a boyfriend, but whenever people join any type of organization their social life can tend to be a little more active, thus increasing connections with other people that spawn all kinds of relationships including romantic ones. |

Oh yea, you are one to talk. |
I was single for all but a year and a half of my time as an undergrad. Sweeping generalizations... are , for the most part, inaccurate.
|
I wasn't one of the single ones when I was an undergrad, but I wish I had been! ;)

When I was in HS I wanted to be popular soooo bad. I mowed lawns all day so you can imagine what people thought of me. Anyways the most popular girl in school was Cindy. Cindy Mancini. Man she was bangin. Blonde, nice rack, cheerleader. Hubba square dude. Hubba square means Hubba Hubba. Anyways, she threw a party and got wine all over this leather outfit that her mom told her not to wear. So she was fizzucked dude. Like waaaaay fucked. Well, I had saved a bunch of money by switching to Geico so I bought her the exact same outfit for her. You know, so she wuoldn't get in trouble with her hot mom. So I made her pretend to be my girlfriend until I became popular. It worked! Man I became sooo popular that all the babes wanted to do me. It was awesome.
So, point of the story. Stay Single! OW OW! PS. Name that movie |

And to the OP...lots of people are single, it's better to be when you join. Then you don't have someone to answer to when there are many hotties at mixers/ on campus. |

I second that!! Relationships in college, regardless of whether you are Greek or not, add more stress. I am so glad that the only "fling" I had happened at the end of the semester...and that it ended. :) |
I was single my entire time at university. While I was there it kind of bummed me out, but the majority of my chapter was also single, so it wasn't that bad.
Looking back, I am so glad I was one of the single ones. |
