Fundrasing via Pillow Fight
 

This is from the Beta Theta Pi website... this is like the niftiest fundraiser I have ever heard


"The Alpha Phi colony at Virginia Tech attempted to break the record for the world's largest pillow fight this weekend. While the event fell short of the record of 2,800, there were 954 participants raising more than $2,000 for Hurricane Katrina relief.

Football Coach Frank Beamer and Basketball Coach Seth Greenberg threw the first pillow-blows in what turned out to be a safe and fun event. "There were absolutely no incidences or injuries," reported Secretary Steve Brylski, Virginia Tech '06. The pillow fight also included the Hokie Bird (school mascot) and current basketball player Coleman Colins. "

Its a cool idea, but they were way shot of the record . . like not even close and averaged about 2 dollars a person for their charity . . ..

right, but it was there first year, and it was something quick an easy that raised money.

Hey, $2,000 + is not bad for one fundraiser. Good for y'all, neighbors (VT is in the next town over from my school, Radford).
