KD Websites, Webrings, Online Groups, etc.
 

Hello ladies-
I wanted to make a list of various KD online resources, websites (chapter, alumane, etc), groups (like myspace or xanga or whatnot), etc. - pretty much a one-stop post on various KD things online. Feel free to add to the list, i'll keep a running list in the first post so people don't need to scroll through a ton of posts. If you'd like to give a brief description, go ahead! After I add your post to this list, i'll delete the post so the thread doesn't get too cluttered.

To get things started:

Kappa Delta National Webpage : http://www.kappadelta.org
- Includes all kinds of information about KD. Of special interest to PNMs is the list of Alumnae Associations and contact persons- this is who you should go to in order to get recs. Also links to chapter websites, the Norman Shield (new member manual), parents information, basic info, etc. etc. A must-view for those looking for more KD information.

Kappa Delta Yahoo Group : http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Kappa_Delta/
The most active KD chat group on the 'net. Must be an initiated member to join. Usually has around 100 members.

KD Onliner Newsletter : http://kdonliner.tripod.com/
Home of the KD Online Unofficial Newsletter, with approx. 1500 subscribers. The newsletter includes news from chapters and alumnae groups, job opportunities, engagement/wedding/birth announcements, sisters moving to a new area and looking for info, etc.

Actually, it's more like 1500. ;)

Usually it's around 1700, but I haven't had as much free time as I did a few years ago! ;)

I don't know how many of you have one of those audioscrobbler thingies, but it's kind of a cool site that tracks what you listen to on iTunes. It's kind of like facebook but with music...yay for music-stalking, eh? ;)

Anyway, I made a group for KDs on there since I noticed a couple other sorority groups, so if you're on there, look me up!
