Supreme Court nominee affiliation?

Yesterday President Bush announced that Harriet Miers is his nominee to the Supreme Court position being vacated by Sandra Day O'Connor.

Ms. Miers is an alumna of SMU and SMU Law School.
Was she Greek?

(Laura Bush is a Theta from SMU. I believe Sandra Day O'Connor is a Theta, too, but maybe another NPC?)

Just curious,
AGD Alum

Not a Chi O.

(Yes, I already checked. Just like I check whenever a new woman starts at my office... :o )

She's not a Gamma Phi either.

They don't have her listed as being Greek here and it's a pretty thourgh bio.

Not sure about Harriet Miers (I can't find anything in relation to her being greek), but Sandra Day O'Connor is a Stanford alum for both undergrad and law school in the 1950's, a time when there were no sororities on the campus.

I have no idea about Ms. Miers, but I think Sandra Day O'Connor should definitely look into AI, after all, at least half of the NPCs already claim her as a member!

i thought that sandra day o'connor is a kappa kappa gamma.

Dallas Morning News says Miers had no Greek affiliation at SMU.

That was actually the very first thing I noticed about her. My husband and I were watching the Today show, and I said, "You just wait, they'll have that woman made-over by the end of the week." I'm still waiting though!
