Another NO Police Horror Story

Quote:

Hoosier: According to a columnist in today's Atlanta newspaper, reporting a story in British newspapers of an eyewitness account by Ged Scott, a bus driver in Liverpool:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4217022.stm

"Police officers had taken "souvenir" photographs of stranded people begging for help"

""They [the authorities] said to them 'well show us what you've got' - doing signs for them to lift their t-shirts up. The girls said no, and they said 'well fine', and motored off down the road in their motorboat."

So people can read the actual article and discuss it I have decided to repost Hoosier's thread. Of course the mods love to shut down the threads of anyone they don't like in this forum so I will do my part to help keep this topic going ;)

Ok back to the topic at hand...

If this is true, they should be put in jail for a long time.

Have you seen the internet video of a TV reporter inside while a Wal-Mart is being looted, and two NO female cops in uniform are pushing around a cart and loaoding it up?

No. If the people in the footage are cops they should be arrested for looting and use the footage as evidence. How does that relate to cops taking pics of stranded victims and not picking them up if they did not flash?

I've seen this on Network television. The reporter asks one of the uniformed female NOPD officers a question to the effect of "what are you doing here?"

She replies "just doing my job", as she walks away with a shopping cart full of merchandise.

Absolutely disgraceful.:(

Well both are regarding cops doing not-so-nice acts during hurricane Katrina. Good relation I'd say.

Well yes but just because some cops looted does not mean that cops also asked women to flash to be rescued.

Just because they did one bad thing doesn't mean they must have done others.

That is just awful. :(
