Hi all! I was at Shorter last night. Delta Lambda, GA State, did the pref ceremony. It was very nice. We had 28 lovely women come to the party. Mrs. Karen Mills, National Extension Director, Mrs. Kim Rice, VPA-I, and Past National President Mrs. Alice Matthews, along with TLC's Candice and Susye and several alumnae were all there. I could see that we have really connected with all of the PNMs. They are very excited to be a part of something so special.

Today is bid day and they are hoping to extend bids to at least 30 ladies. We're all keeping our fingers crossed that we can get to that number. They are SO close! As soon as I hear more I will let you know.

This just came in from our Province President. Welcome to our newest colony, Shorter College!!!!

Ladies:

It is with great excitement that I announce that we have a new ZTA Colony at Shorter College in Rome, GA. The 30th member signed her card this morning! There may be a possibility that 3 more may join by 2pm today which is the deadline.

Bid night will be held tonight if anyone would like to join in the fun.

I would like to thank Iota Theta and Omicron for their participation in the Experience ZTA party on Monday and Delta Lambda for their leadership in conducting the Pref Ceremony. I know that Monday and Tuesday nights were very long nights with the drive over and back.

Ms. Mills and Ms. Mathews were so very impressed with all of our chapter members that attended both parties and had many wonderful things to say about your leadership and commitment to ZTA.

I hope you will pass on this exciting news to all of your chapter members and please thank everyone who attended from your chapters!
