Never have seen the van, but I did see the guys in there "prize patrol" jackets running through the St. Louis airport once :)

One of my family's friends was SO sure that she was going to win the PCH (by the language of the letters), that she ended up spending over $7,000 on magazines. At the time, no one realized that she was at the onset of Alzheimer's Disease.

Thankfully, PCH settled out of court, and they got their money back.

I will NEVER participate in any of their scams!!

I don't know any, but I'm always hopeful that I'll be the next one!

Has anyone under retirement age ever won? I mean how great would it be to see the Prize Patrol rolling up to someone's dorm!

My grandpa won $25 way back when. They didn't send the van, just a check in the mail...

a family in the town where i grew up won $1 million about 20 years ago. they were really poor before, but they went out and bought a huge house and decorated it with millions of watts of light-up christmas decorations every year. at least for the 5 years or so it took them to blow through all the money.

My gramps best friend won 100,000... he opened a pro shop with it, and then went bankrupt... but because he declared bankrupcy he is like well off now, not sure how that works
