DG wins Miss Ole Miss

OXFORD - Jill Waycaster, a 2002 Tupelo High graduate, was elected Miss Ole Miss on Tuesday.


It's the highest non-academic honor afforded a female on campus.


The broadcast journalism major is a member of numerous organizations and president of Delta Gamma Sorority. She is the daughter of Mitch and Christy Waycaster.


Also a winner in the election was Caroline Wicker of Tupelo, chosen senior maid in the Homecoming court. She is the daughter of U.S. Rep. Roger and Gayle Wicker
