Buying Old Bid Day, or General Sigma Shirts.
Hi guys. Im a new Sigma in Texas and I don't have nearly as many Sigma shirts as I would like. I also like to be different and not have the exact same shirts as everyone else. Does anyone know about buying old bid day shirts from other chapters in Sigma? I love Sigma and think that the letters are total cute, but I want more unique shirts and I was just wondering if it was allowed to by them from other people and if anyone had any shirts to sell to a fellow sistah?

A good idea would be for your chapter to do a 'shirt swap' with another chapter. It would work well for you all because there are a few other chapters in your state.
Basically everyone in your chapter who wants a shirt has to put one in a box. The other chapter does the same thing. Then you both swap boxes! We did this with Zeta Chi chapter and I got some pretty cool shirts from it! And you are certainly allowed to buy from any sister! Some of your graduating seniors may give you some for free. I got alot of shirts from there too! If you want some unique shirts, search "Sigma Sigma Sigma" on e-bay. There are tons of sisters out there who are moving or other things who sell some shirts. That's where I get some of my unique shirts from! |
Another idea might be to get with your fellow New Members and discuss having some t-shirts made for you guys. I am sure all of the other girls feel like they might want a few mor shirts as well. If you all got together the order would be larger and cheeper for t-shirts for everyone . Then you could make up something cute that all of the other girls do not have and it could be specific to your New Member class. My class did this and the t-shirt is still my favorite shirt to date. It has a lot more meaning because I only share it with a few girls and we created it together. :) Good Luck!
