New season of Nip/Tuck
 

Watching it now, but what did you think?

I liked it. It makes me really look forward to upcoming season. A big shocker for me was finding out that Christian was raped. I think this gives his character a whole new sense of vulnerability. (I mean I know that is obvious) But Christian always seemed so disconnected from himself, it was good to see him become kinda of child like. Of course, his old self came back in the end:p
But now I think he has more depth. I am eager to see what will happen to him in the future.

The ending was kind of weak. In the beginning, though, I was thinking - dang - this guy can't keep a show! First Cole, now this...then came the proverbial "it was a dream".

I had to watch this as homework for my Human Sexuality class, and it was pretty good, I thought. (I've only seen a couple episodes before.) My boyfriend's a big fan, though, and he was flipping out at the beginning because he thought the one doctor was dead. I knew he couldn't have been, though, because c'mon...if his character was dead, there wouldn't really be much of a show anymore, would there?

A guy told me that he almost cried, cause he thought Christian was dead. Come on people. Think! I knew it was a dream from the beginning.

I kept thinking "if this isn't a dream sequence I'm gonna be so pissed" and then thinking "dream sequences are so cliched, holy hell how could they kill christian and what are they gonna do w/o him?" lol

Nip/Tuck has almost become formulaic. Does Christian have sex with every female character on the show? I was half expecting him to go at it with the fat chick.

A dream sequence? I thought Nip/Tuck was better than that, but totally knew it was going to happen. My friends and I were all sitting there like, "come on, get on with it, now he's gonna wake up." Ridiculous.

I think the Carver is that new doctor guy that they hired. It was all a big plot to kill Christian off so he could move to Miami and take over their practice. We're going to find out that they were like all buddies in med school or something, and Christian stole that guys girlfriend one time or something. OR MAYBE he loved Julia at some point, and now he's trying to get back at the two guys that actually got her.

Here's hoping that the rest of the season gets a little bit more interesting and we find out who the Carver is really soon!

In the dream sequence, Sean's son (really christian's lol) had such a malevolent look on his face I thought "Oh he is SO the Carver"

Is it me or was he channeling Michael Jackson in this episode?

totally! was was creepy. I'm telling you, he is my bet for who is the Carver.

Ok so I'm completely lame but the other night I really thought Christian was dead, no joke. I almost started crying and about a minute after the show started my best friend from home called me (he knows how obsessed I am w/Christian) and we freaked out together. Stupid as it might have been, I'm glad it was a dream. I am so addicted to this show it's not even funny!

My thoughts exactly! I'm not really a fan either, but my boyfriend loves loves this show, and it kind of got to the point where I still don't like the show, but I can't bear to watch anything else when it's on because the plot is so...weird.
You know, I thought about that too. But if the guy has been in Miami the whole time, then how could he be the carver? Maybe he was faking it...
TOTALLY! And yeah, he's my guess for the carver.
