Any sisters in the Central PA area?

Hi-

I'm a Province Director for 4 chapters- 3 of which are in the Central Pennsylvania area (Delta Kappa, Delta Rho and Gamma Omicron). I am currently trying to find interested sisters willing to help with these chapters in ANY capacity!!

If you are in the area or know of sisters around there that would like to be more involved- please email me!!

Loyally!!!

adpideltaup-

I'm an alumnae from Eta Beta and we have a lot of women who graduate and still remain in the PA area. Let me get in touch with some folks and see if they would be interseted and/or close enough to help out.

That would be great HBADPi- if you find out of anyone, PM me- I think that's the lingo... I'm learning the GreekChat language :)

Welcome to Greek Chat, sister! If you're unable to fill the available spots with local members, I am sure you will find ADPi's here on GC willing to help with long distance advising!

There's a really wonderful woman named Jane Madio in Boalsburg - I'm sure she'd help! ;) She's a GREAT sister!!

Hi honeychile-

I know Jane really well- she's a bit busy with many other ADPi projects but thanks for suggesting :)

Shes an HB sister! I got to meet her at convention and even have a picture with her :D

Jane Madio is a Gamma Omicron sister, and former Grand President! She was PD when I was in school, and one of my claims to fame is to have made chili in a popcorn popper for her when our stove was broken!

Her daughter, who went to Allegheny College, is one of the bigger reasons that Eta Beta was founded!

Im not sure what part of PA that is in, but if you ever need any help with things, I can try to help. I am about 45 mins from Pittsburgh, PA.

whoops either way I met both but glad you knew what I meant honey. Her daughter actually joined adpi when Eta Beta was already founded since she was in class after Kristen Dolan who was part of the first pledge/alpha class. Regardless Mrs Madio helped HB out a lot and came to campus to do initiation that year. Random side note but for those of you who did not hear they dedicated the new library at EO after Mrs Madio, the tribute at convention was very beautiful!

I think she was also an adviser at our chapter down in Florida! I met her at convention in 03. Wasn't she a past director of the foundation, or I am confused?

Jane Madio is indeed the one person who has served ADPi as our Grand President as well as President of the Foundation.

I didn't know about the library!! One of my best ADPi friends was the Chapter Advisor at the time of Colonization, and was constantly asking me to make the trek up Rte. 79 to help her out. She was pregnant at the time, and was soooo upset that she was in the little Pi's room when the formal picture was taken! Oh, the secrets surrounding that colonization!!!

Just an FYI: HBADPi just left for a vacation in Europe. She'll be back online soon.
