New Member Pins
 

We got our New Member pins tonight! It just made me excited because it means we're one step closer to becoming full-fledged initiated members of Alpha Phi! Next week is initiation week, so that should be amazing! Monday will be our Flower Ceremony, Tuesday is Court of Ivy, Wednesday is the Founders Day Ceremony and Thursday is Initiation! My Big is our Chaplain, so it makes it that much cooler for me! I can't wait!!!

Remember this time always - keep a journal, take pictures, and really pay attention to the ceremonies you're going through. Have a wonderful time!

Definitely keep a journal. I wish I kept one more consistently.

My best advice: In the future, go to as many ceremonies as ya can. You will almost ALWAYS pick up on something you missed the last time.
I forgot that Wazzu had recruitment in August. I was like Initiation already????? :eek:

Initiation is next Thursday the 29th. I'm so excited!

I wish I had taken more pictures and made a scrapbook. The new member process is so wonderful- you'll create bonds that will last forever!

oh! LoL Today is Court of Ivy, then Founders Day Ceremony is Wednesday and Initiation is Thursday. Busy week. I feel bad for my Big because she's so busy with all this stuff. She's hugely stressed out.

That's too bad. :( This week isn't supposed to be stressful for anyone. I hope things get better for her!

But it might be the good kind of stress. Most of my stress in life comes from Alpha Phi, but honestly I thrive on it.
