On behalf of the KD sisters, i'd like to wish every woman here a very happy National Women's Friendship Day!

"National Women's Friendship Day was organized in 1999 by Kappa Delta Sorority to pay tribute to women friends everywhere. On the third Sunday in September every year, women are encouraged to remember their friends with a phone call, card, gift or special outing. This makes for an ideal way to celebrate the bonds between women."

I am not a woman, but happy day to y'all anyway.

Now I feel about this small for not seeing this earlier :(

I hope all the ladies of GC had an enjoyable day filled of friendship and camraderie!

I, on the other hand, sat at a hot, dusty ballpark for 6 hours keeping score at doubleheader softball games. I was not feeling the love.

I wish I'd seen this earlier too. I spent my International Women's Friendship Day with Mistermadly at Ikea buying curtains.

Same to you, Dani. I got a very nice card from the local KD alumnae chapter this weekend, too.

Well, I'm celebrating today, then!

I've made some WONDERFUL online and IRL friends through GreekChat, and I want to hug ((((((each one of y'all!!))))))

Here's to being a woman, for knowing how to do things that mystify men, for being inately intuitive, for being great dancers (backwards and in high heels!), and for that special gift of compassion and friendship!
