TKE in Germany
I remember reading about this some time ago. Don't we have a TKE chapter in Germany? If so, where at and what is its chapter designation?
Thanks. |
It was either Alpha Hun or Deutsch Alpha.
I think they dechartered due to the poor exchange rate for the Euro, and two alumni had ties to the Nazis. Their conduct was just terrible at the Conclaves. |
I spoke with Todd Farmer about this afew months ago, from what ive been told they call themselves the core or "Ze Core", And at conclave Germany was spoke of and i beleve the conclusion was give about a months notice to HQ if your ever going there and they can arrange things for you there ...

if any tekes are going to germany and with to meet the "tekes" there simply call up international and let them know with 2 weeks notice and they will be able to help out. as for the group themselves i forget the website i found abou tthem but i know they call themselves the corp, but its pronounced "Za Core" ...

we do not have a chapter in germany. It is a loose affiliation set up by Kevin Mayeux, CEO, and Tim Murphy PRevious CEO, with a group called the corp in germany. BAsically the core is the entire fraternity system of germany, instead of many chapters at each campus there is one group called the core at each. I have met some of the guys and they are awesome, and yes if you go over there they def. can hook you up.
One interesting note is that the core defines each group by a sash type thing they wear. Each group has different colors dependign on what school they went to. BAsically though if a core member comes to the states they can be initiated as a tke and vice versa. stephen m lytle |
