Her name is Hillary and she's currently at a pound that is nearby. I'm looking to adopt a puppy this weekend and I'm going to be stopping in to see her and some others tomorrow morning. Now, on the site she's listed as a "Bull Terrier", but she looks nothing like one. So....my question is what are ya'll guesses??

so if Hilary has puppies, will they be POUND PUPPIES?

I think it's a golden retriever mixed with a benji dog and a shitsue.

I'm pretty sure that Bull Terrier is another name for Pit Bull. As in Staffordshire Bull Terrier. I hate to be a downer, but you may want to make sure that they're legal in your city. Some cities in Iowa don't allow them. Looks so cute. I want a dog.

Sorry I can't help since I don't really know dog breeds!

I did want to tell you, though, that I adopted my exotic mix dog "Gus" from the pound 11 years ago and to this day no one has been able to say for sure exactly WHAT he is! Doesn't matter though, because he's the most awesome, loving dog ever :)

I'll make my choice this morning about the pups at this particular pound this morning :) Her (Hillary) breed doesn't really matter aside from the fact I just want a small dog to pamper and be my sidekick! I was just curious because she looks nothing like a Bull Terrier or (like bluefish81 suggested) a Pit Bull, hehe

Bull Terriers are not the same thing as Pit Bulls. Bull Terriers are the Spuds Mackenzie dog.

It looks like a Pit Bull/some sort of Terrier mix.

Look at the eyes, they look a lot like American Pit Bull eyes.

But the ears, tail nose and body shape all say some sort of Terrier. Maybe some sort of smooth-coat terrier.

She'll probably be a good medium size, maybe 35-50 lbs. Not huge, but not one you can just tuck under your arm. And she'll probably have a lot of personality! :)

Good luck, we rescued our Rat Terrier/Spitz mix puppy from our local shelter almost two years ago. She's our baby (or at least will be until the real deal comes in March!)

I think she is absolutely adorable.... I also think she looks like she has some pit bull in her.

I was going to say this! She's definitely got pit in her.

Hard to tell from the picture, but it looks to me like there might be some Jack Russell terrier in there.
