Six Cs of rush no-nos
 

I remember seeing someone post the 6 Cs that you shouldn't talk about during recruitment last year. Does anyone know what those 6 Cs are? Thanks!

Wasn't it 6 Bs? Like boys and bankroll?

We have four B's: Boys, Bank, Beliefs, Booze

We added "Bush" to that :p

We had 3 C's to avoid in terms of attitude: cute, crude, catty.

"Cute"? :confused:

Don't forget somehow to include the other sororities in your things not to talk about.

ETA: Which would probably fall under "catty".

how about a "C" for chewing gum? i was at the first recruitment party of the chapter i advise last night and two of the pnms were chewing gum like cows chewing their cud. a wad of chewing gum in an open mouth with someone chewing it like their life depends on it is a pet peeve of mine. this however, will not reflect on these girls possibility of receiving a bid. we can always have a standard on gum chewing and retrain them, BUT pnms or future pnms......spit out your gum before you go into the recruitment party.

We had 5-c words:
NO
Cussing = self explanatory
Clasping (or cuddling) = no touching rushees
Contracting = no bid offering
Crying = keep it together
Criticizing = other chapters, sisters, the school etc.

I *think* cute would be used to descibe a PNM...as in "she's a nice cute girl" it really doesn't say anything about the girl and doesn't help at some school's where the cute nice girls are a dime a dozen! That's probably why it's on a list of no-nos.

Here are my A's...I'll throw up if I hear ayone else say their new PNMs are amazing or awesome! Because EVERYBODY says it!

Haha, I won't say that then. Because from what I've heard, AU DG's new girls are FABULOUS :p

I've got one... How about "D" as in the PNM that wore Daisy Dukes to a recruitment event tonight. It might be Philanthropy Night, but there is such a thing as too casual!
