Hurricane Katrina
 

HELLO LOVELY LADIES OF SIGMA GAMMA RHO INC.,

I am current graduate advisor for the epsilon psi chapter of iota phi theta fraternity, inc. at the university of southern mississippi in hattiesburg, ms. I'm just letting you all know that your sorhors of the eta tau chapter here are all doing fine after the hurricane. hattiesburg, ms is a little less than an hour away from the gulf coast so when Katrina hit she was still a category 3 hurricane damaging houses and knocking out electricity for weeks. Between scouring the city for fresh water, ice, and a hot meal and keeping families hopes alive, we have had a huge task at hand. However, they are continuing with project big book bag and being a very integral part of the campus community. I applaud you women for being so strong in the face of adversity. The epsilon psi chapter will continue to be avid supporters of Sigma Gamma Rho and keep everyone in the new orleans and mississippi gulf coast in our thoughts and prayers.
