Hey gals! I am my chapter's pledge ed, and I would like to do something new for Pearl and Violet Night. I would like to give something (not terribly expensive) to each girl on each night signifying that night. I would like something creative (maybe hand-made) to them. Any ideas?

Do ya'll already do the pearl rings? We sit in a circle and as each sister puts a pearl on she shares a special SK memory.

Just curious...
I know every chapter does things a little differently, but what is pearl and violet night?

I-Week
 

We had Pearl night, Violet night, and Dove night (I think). We read The Legend of the Pearl the first night, gave the girls violets the next night and also each class (Soph, Jr, Sr) was in charge of each night's activities. It's just getting everyone in the chapter together in the week before Initiation to go over the chapter ideals and hear about what SK means to each sister and so on and so forth. It's a preparation for Initiation.

We had Heart Night, Pearl Night and Violet Night. Pearl Night had us getting a donut and we had to hold it and we went around in a circle - New members tell memorable moment and what they look forward to, actives tell memorable moment and why they joined Sigma K. Violet Night was just Violet Sis revealing.
