Job interview tomorrow

I started at my current company almost one year ago. I left the old company for more money. I am at the point that I could care less about the money-- I miss what I had--- the flexibility, the ability to screw around, take long lunches, and have fun at work.

The new office is so uptight it is unreal. They haven't even heard me speak in my normal voice, everyone whispers. The people are too hoity-toity for me!

I called a headhunter (who placed me here) on Thursday, met with him on Friday, he called yesterday and I have an interview on Wednesday. I am so nervous. Although the location is alot closer to home, pay is about the same. I want out of this place so badly, but I worry that I will move to another company that will make me more miserable than I am now.

I need to start a list of questions to ask--- I hate making big decisions like this.....

Dude. That is freaking awesome. Congrats!

Now you just gotta break it up with the hoity toity bunch.

"See ya, wouldn't wanna be ya!"

Are you going to say that?

Just kidding. Congrats again. :)

Thanks-
I have my list of things I would like to say, but I won't...

In my reivew my boss wrote "Wendi has lots of personality..." --I am not sure what that meant in a review but I would love to tell my boss "You said I have lots of personality, well it can't carry all of you"

Or since no one talks-- I thought I could say something like "I am quite accomodating of people with disabilites but you could have warned me I would be working with an office full of mutes."

I am amazed at the speed everything has happened--- and so excited to get out of there! Monday afternoon I am giving my notice.

Thanks for the congrats!

Lynn-- just call one-- its easy and very confidential! This is the 3rd time I have used someone to do my searching, salary neog, etc. it is very easy! And no out of pocket expenses for me!

I've used a headhunter twice. Definitely the way to go, especially if you are relocating out of state. The only caution that I would give is that you need to remember who pays him. He wants you to take the job so he can get paid! He may not be completely forthcoming about issues at your potential new place of employment. Just because he is doing the negotiation doesn't mean you shouldn't do you own research and know what you want. I learned the hard way NOT to trust headhunters with my salary package negotiation or to start the moving process without a signed agreement that reflects what you were told at the interview or when you were offered the position.
