TAU KAPPA EPSILON FRATERNITY_is seeking a Communications_Coordinator to work at the International Headquarters in_Indianapolis,_IN.
_
The Communications Coordinator assists the Programs Department with the planning, editing, managing, formatting and writing of copy for articles, manuals, newsletters, press releases and/or website material.
_
Primary Responsibilities
§_ Writes articles for the TKE quarterly magazine, website and other publications.
§_ Contacts alumni/collegians and manages information to develop news stories for the magazine.
§_ Assists the Programs Department team with the formatting and writing of a variety of promotional materials and presentations for special projects and events, including newsletters and Fraternity manuals and handbooks.
§_ Participates with the brainstorming of ideas for upcoming publications.
§_ Proofreads and edits all publications for spelling, grammar, punctuation and syntax; makes revision and corrections and/or recommends adjustments to text.
§_ Represents Tau Kappa Epsilon through active participation in the College Fraternity Editors Association.
§_ Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
§_ Strong verbal and written skills, good organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a deadline-oriented environment.
§_ Ability to create, compose, edit and proofread written materials.
§_ Thorough knowledge of spelling, grammar, punctuation and syntax.
§_ Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to be flexible and work effectively in a team environment.
§_ A familiarity with Word, Excel and PageMaker preferred.
