New Alumna Here!!!
 

Well, I posted in Chit Chat and Alumni Involvement and I forgot about Sigma Kappa's very own message board. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/rolleyes.gif

I went alumn on Monday night. I can't even begin to explain all of the emotions I had that night. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/frown.gif http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/confused.gif I can say that I was way more emotional than I expected to be and the ceremony was even more beautiful than I had anticipated.

Needless to say, I'm so proud to be a Sigma Kappa, I'm proud to be an alumnae of Sigma Kappa, and I'm proud to be a member of this unique community...the Greek community.

Congrats on your alum status...I went alum two years ago this April, and I talk to 2 of my pledge sisters EVERYDAY without fail. Sigma Kappa is truly the sisterhood that lasts a lifetime!

Welcome to the alumna side of Sigma Kappa! Don't forget to find your local alum group and stay involved. It's still fun to be a SK even after college is over. :D

Actually...since this was a thread from 2001....the message applies to ALL new SK alumae. It's the message that keeps on giving. ;-)
