Important Announcement

I just saved big money by switching to Geico.

Oh wait, sorry, that's wrong, cause Geico Sucks. But USAA just dropped my auto insurance renewal $50/mth while changing my deductable from $1000 back to a more reasonable $500.

This is very big for me. Instead of paying $240 a month, I now pay $185 and half the deductable....woot!

That was a temporary measure that I only had since my policy was adjusted on August 3rd when I got my new car...before then, it was $500 on the saturn I had. They wanted me to pay like $200 extra for the two months left to keep the same coverage...so I raised my deductable and evened it out.

As soon as I got my policy in the mail today, I called USAA to have it changed back to a reasonable deductable...$500 is still a lot, but much easier to live with then $1k!!!!

If I stuck with the 1k deductable that I got in the mail, I would be paying 160/mth...

I pay my car insurance yearly, and last year, got talked into trying my brother's insurance man (my company was going to drop me). Six months later, I was able to switch back to my former company at HALF the cost, HALF the deductable ($250), and DOUBLE the benefits!

I urge everybody to at least give a couple companies to fight over your business!!

I would leave, but USAA already has my business firmed up. No other company pays me to be a member!!! (USAA is very nice :))
