Fry him.

I've seen a psychotic person try to cut a girl's throat on the bus years ago (he lit up a cigarette right before he did it, calmly sat behind her and grabbed her around her neck). We were all like  - I mean, it could've been me!

But to stab a baby??? Fry him.

I used to work in a cancer ward in high school.

There was one elderly woman I liked a lot. One time I went by one of their rooms and the woman was crying and screaming. I saw one of the most awful operations possible that had been performed on a human body. The following week when I came back, her room was empty. These doctors had ruined her quality of life and destroyed her G-d given body a week before she would die. Obviously the physical ailments allowed them to make that conscious decision to operate.

The psychological ailments are intangible...

What's scary is that it happened in my neighborhood.

I can't find a link to the story but I *think* a suspect was arrested.
