Alpha Phi Alpha's Disaster Relief Efforts

In addition to the fraternity's participation in national relief efforts, brothers can assist brothers displaced due to hurricane Katrina via the Alphanet website. A database of brothers and their needs is being compiled. Please forward any information you have on distressed brothers to the General Office as you become aware of such situations.

I'd also like to challenge brothers across the nation to make chapter and individual donations to Alpha and other relief efforts. We know it's about "manly deeds." Let's go to work, bruhs.

A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity. Proverbs 17:17.
God Bless.

My prophyte, and one time special Rod Earl Reed, just got married a month ago. He was living in Miss. with his new bride and Katrina ruined what had the makings of a beautiful future. His house was distroyed. The chapted has of course put together "Operation Reed" but we can only do so much. How can I make sure that Rod is on that list.?

Probably the quickest way is to contact the national office and make sure you talk with someone who can access the list.
