Try to be as unique as possible. Make something and add your own personal touches to it or personalize whaterver you get for your BS(s).

I helped a friend out with her little sis & I ended up making a personalized calender that she ended up keeping http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif Also I got a baby sweatshirt personalized and put it on a huge teddy bear for a fraternity friend last Christmas. Hope that gives you some ideas to start with.
