Greetings My Fellow Sisters and Brothers in Greek-Lettered NPHC
Affiliate Organizations,

Recently, there have been a number of malicious fliers/e-mails sent
through many list serves depicting men of our beloved organizations as
gay or bisexual. These fliers are a disservice to our organizations
AND members of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender
communities._ Although, it would be ignorant to believe that our
organizations do not have members who have different sexual
orientations, it is malicious to create FICTITIOUS documents depicting
these differences.

The greatest disservice, however, is the fact that we continue to
support this madness by sending these messages to more and more list
serves._ We are intelligent, college-educated men and women._ I ask
that if any inappropriate messages and/or fliers arrive in your
electronic mailbox, that you delete it and send a separate message to
the sender that it is inappropriate to send these type of messages._ I
thank you in advance for heeding this message._ Silence can be a sign
of acceptance.

Seen this email. It was a response to malicious fliers sent out about individual organizations of the NPHC.

No, the flyers were to "advertise" a specifically gay party sponsored by men in certain orgs. The images were not of members, but the people on the flyers were wearing letters. Pretty tacky stuff that served no purpose. Other flyers featured a certain org in a certain sorority's colors to imply they were gay in nature. Just dumb stuff made by someone with too much time on their hands.

And there was an email being circulated that resembled a press release about Alpha Phi Alpha. I'll let Sensuret tell ya about that when he comes back.
