When I joined I was told there are three rules to live by in Lambda Chi.

1) Never leave food unattended around a brother.
2) Nevere fall asleep/pass out around a brother.
3) Don't mess with another brothers girl.

i believe my chapter has just set another rule. If you owe a brother money, pay him. Thought this was funny and had to sare.

I always knew the rules from the military and adapted them to the chapter :)

1) Never leave food/booze unattended around a brother - particularlly when they are drinking...
2) Never, never fall asleep/pass out in a "common area". ie always make it behind a locked door (a sturdy one also helps).
3) Don't ever f*cking mess with another brother's girl or sister.

Ours was the same, except for #3. Ours read, never bring a chick around the chapter on a first date. She's fair game.

Ours where the same here and i learned rule # 2 after one night very quickly.

An interesting variation on the no pass-out/sleep rule is from one of the houses up here - with them its no passing-out/sleeping in a common area with shoes on...

Ours was u pass out in the common area, u will wake up to maker on your face and everywhere else, they could find.

More than one promising political career has abruptly ended this way at the Phi-Tau house. After all, what fool would announce his candidacy, never knowing when "The Pictures" might surface.
