Question for Members
 

Hi everyone, I hope that this question is "appropriate" in the sense that I'm not requesting too much information, so here goes: When it comes to an individual chapter having a line for a particular year/semester, how is that determined? (i.e. how does an org. decide if they will have a line that year?) I ask because this has always been a question of mine and I'm merely curious as to how this process works.

I'm certainly not asking about membership or requirements, but simply "how" the group of members decides upon "when" to initiate new prospects into the Sorority. Is there a vote? Does it occur a certain number of years apart-automatically/without question? (etc.) I apologize (in advance) if this is asking a bit too much. Thank you.

It's up to the chapter and the regional director. And that's all that needs to be said about that.

This question is about membership and as such won't be entertained. Since your mother is a member, I would think that if you cannot ask her and get an answer, it is not something you should be asking period.
