What's Your Chapter Known For?

Brothers Of Our Grand Fraternity Iota Phi Theta, Inc.

A question was posed to me Sunday that really got me to thinking. While talking with an AKA and Nupe, the question was asked, "What are our respective chapters known for?"

Are we known for community service, partying or doing nothing? Are we known for carrying out the principles of our respective founders?

There were many other questions we asked ourselves, but I thought I would just put it out, and maybe it might start other chapters of Iota to think about "What your chapter is known for."

Here at Alpha Pi Omega, we are known for "Back To The 63." They here us say, "If it worked for our Beloved Founders, It'll work for us!" and that includes work and play!

My Undergrad Chapter: Delta Lambda - UVA

The chapter picked up the moniker "Iota Forum Theta" for the many forums we put on about race issues on UVAs campus.

Delta Eta chapter is known for Ladies Appreciation and Empowerment Nights and soon to be our Founders Week Step Show. Oh yeah and our road trips.
