This is Sis.Rosa Manayon. I survived in GAUF, Alpha Nu Chapter last July 1991. I feel so proud seeing this page!!!

And I would like to take this opportunity to re-echo what we have achieved on the recently concluded 16th Biennial National Convention last April 29th - May 1, 2006 held at EcoVillage Farm in the town of Pili, city of Camarines Norte, Province of Bicol. This event was sponsored by the Camarines Sur ASP Alumni Association who won in the bidding for the sponsorship for this event in Palawan Convention two years ago.

As always, to have attended the convention is a privilege for each member as we only require 2 delegates per chapter specifically in voting the national officers. It was attended by 72 delegates from all over the philippines.

Firstly, the ammendments constituted in the Palawan Convention for our local Constitution and by-laws were ratified. An election of officer was done but there were changes in the system, wherein 15boardmembers were elected and the 15 members then elect for the national officers. Gladly, i was one of the 2 candidates who gathered the highest votes (thanks) and yours truly was elected as National Vice President. The question of the recruitment process and initiation rites were also finalized sanctioning PEP as the one and only process all chapters nationwide will follow. This is in furtherance to Executive Order no.010 approved during the 2003 National Conclave and Alumni Congress. Let me inform you brothers and sisters that the Southwestern Mindanao Alumni Council won the bidding to host our National Convention on 2008, while the Quiapo Alumni Chapter won the bidding to host the National Leadership Conference (both, date not yet set).:cool: Congratulations!!!

Lastly, i'd like to thank the group behind this site. You brothers are great. Lets keep that spirit burning!! And maintain the glory of the Old Gal!!
