Greekchat registration
 

Hi all,

I know this has been talked about before, but, despite being a librarian, I still can't find anything by searching and it's not in the FAQ.

There's a sister of mine who tried to register for GC but is still awaiting her email confirmation (At least a week I think).

What should she do? send an email to someone? just try again? Sit on her hands and wait some more?

Does she have a spam blocker? If so, she might have to go through what her ISP has labeled spam, and see if the activation is there. Another way is if she will let you try to sign on with her user name & password, and see if that works.

This happened to me as well. It took me several months to finally get my confirmation. I tried registering a number of times under a few of my e-mail addresses. It was really frustrating.

There is a button you click if you have trouble registering, and I sent an e-mail there, but never got an answer.

I guess tell her to keep trying. I wonder if there is a bug in the system.

I'd just try registering with a different name.
