Greek Intuition
Have you ever met someone and had a feeling that the person is Greek without ever seeing him/her in letters or asking that person? There was a girl who volunteered at the place where I interned and as soon as I met her, I KNEW that she's Greek and even guessed which GLO she's in. Then, this afternoon, I saw a note on another desk with her name on it and info, including something saying that she's a Pi Phi.

I could usually tell which chapter people where in at my university. And during rush, you could pretty much narrow it down to the 2 sororities they would pref. Outside of that, I had a hunch when someone was Greek but couldn't necessarily put the specific letters on them (since each chapter is different).

Yeah, at my school you can tell which house each rushee will join. Its rather obvious

yea usually it is the same @ UNA. I wish they would just let the alumnae tell the pms where they belong. Cause, usually we could pick where they would fit in.
Oh you are blonde with Blue eyes you go XYZ Hey little miss PM you have a 4.0 gpa and are a rushing sophomore you go ABC Hello fun party girl you go lmnop Cause who are we fooling. You go with what matches you. |
In the past, I've heard from older actives that you could tell where girls were going to go. This past rush was the complete opposite. HALF of the rushees people had pegged for particular chapters, pledged a totally different house than what we expected. It was good in a way, to see that the sterotypes don't hold true like they used to.

Otterbein is really weird in that way...people say "oh these girls are XYZ and those are definitely ABC"...and to a certain extent they're right, but most of the time, it is a crapshoot and you never really know till bid day
