How much does a movie ticket in your area cost?
How much is a movie ticket in your area? Here in NYC it's about $10.75 for a ticket. A few theaters are a little cheaper than that, but generally $10+ is the standard rate.

I think tix are about $7.50 here, but I'm not sure, b/c I still use my student ID to get the student rate. :D I think that's about $5.50.
|
Regular tix are $8.50
|
Before 5pm $5.75 and after 5pm $9.00.
|
$5.75 in town, but I normally go to a really nice theatre outside of Athens and it's $4.00 :)
or...the drive-in for $6 for 2 movies |
$7.50 and that's with the student discount I get. Not that I'm a student but I've kept my old UCF ID card specifically for movie theater purposes.
|
Well...we have 2 different theaters with their own prices
Before 6, the movies are either $5.25 or $5.50 after 6 it goes up to like $7.25 But the movie theater I go to (which is close to my house) gives a military discount for movies after 6, so you get it for $5.00 Of course, you could always wait for a while, and go to the dollar movies (and on tuesday's it is $.50 woohoo!!!) |

I know here my bf and I pay $6.50 each for our movie tickets. But that is with the student discount. Like others have said, it is a good thing to hold on to them!
|
There are three movie theaters around my area, but they're all between 4.75-5.50 for before 5 PM and about 7.00 afterwards.
I can't imagine paying $10+ for a movie ticket. |
Ticket prices here are $13.50 CDN.
|
Tixs in Eastside of Seattle are ~$11 after 6 PM.
But you buy the bootlegs for like $5 in Las Vega$... |
3.50 if you go to Gahana... but 5.50/7.50 around me
|
between $8 - 15, depends on where I go see the movie and time of day
|
10-12 dollars normally, depending on the theater
