Soror, I was just getting ready to post this myself. I am so angry and hurt right now. She was very active Soror and motivated me everytime I spoke to her. She is one of the reasons why I am proud to be a part of Phi Sigma. She will be missed.

Sisters,
I am terribly sorry for your loss. This is a terrible tragedy. What an awful reminder of the unnecessarily violent world we live in. I will keep her family and friends in my prayers. Very truly yours, Kim |
What a terrible loss. I'll be praying for her family and friends as well.

Ladies of Sigma Gamma Rho:
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. That community in general lost a wonderful person as well. A little girl lost her grandmother. And most importantly that was so senseless. I think I am more angry than sad. Angry to see that "getting yours" means more than life of a person. Why must our society continue to be so heartless and so sinful. I feel like this cycle may never end. But I know and I hope that this story and others like it will make us all of us more respectful of our fellow human and value life a little more. Remember material items are a quick fix, but love and GOD breed happiness eternally. Once again my condolences and a prayer to all that have ever been touch by brutality...................... ------------------ Suntzu 1963 Member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. 4-FALL-99 UVA Colony OW OW LIPTTDID W.W.N.O.R.T. http://www.angelfire.com/va2/suntzuipt4uva -"Nineteen sixty-three is not an end, but a beginning. My deepest sympathy goes out you. My thoughts and prayers are with the family of your member Harriet Hill.

I just wanted to extend my condolences to the family of Harriet Hill and her sorors. Some things in life just don't make any sense. Maybe one day we will wake up and realize that a culture that encourages violence only fosters more violence. When will it end?! I will keep you all in my prayers.
