Are GLOs on the campus website?
The deans and campus big wigs like to have many rules for GLOs, and sometimes have full/part-time supervisors for GLOs.
In looking at a lot of campus sites, often there is no mention of the GLO system. Surely, including a list, map, contacts, and emails (and maybe house pictures, too) should be a min. at every campus. I'm looking for campuses that do a good job with GLOs on their website. Know any? |

Yes it is but in order to find it, you have to click on the link to Student Services, then click the link to Student Life and Development, then click on the link to Student Organizations & then click on the link to Fraternities & Sororities & finally you're at the page.
CSULB Greek Website It's weird but I've talked to the maintainers of the site many times b/c I seriously think a non-Greek maintains it. First they had Sigma Kappa w/the NPC sororities which would normally be fine except that the groups under that heading are actually NPHC yet no one has fixed it though I've mentioned it many times. When they finally moved Sigma Kappa with the other organizations like DZ, DG, DDD, APhi, GPhiB, & AOTT, we are now listed as Panhellenic Chapter members & orgs like AKA are listed as NPC. *shrugs* I guess I should be happy that we even are on the site but still. It's silly. |
Yes! It's not very extensive, but it's there. :) There's a direct link in the "student life" section, which is part of the admissions area.

At Ohio University the answer is yes, but you have to drill fairly deep for it:

Yes, but they're kind of a PIA to find as you have to click the navigation bar on the side - the link doesn't link you directly.

The Northern Arizona Greek Life website isn't half bad... The only problem is that much of the info is never updated...
http://www4.nau.edu/reslife/reslife/...life/index.htm Also, all GLOs are listed on the Student Life website as well, with contact information... |
both the University of Arizona
http://www.union.arizona.edu/csil/greek/ and New Mexico State University http://www.nmsu.edu/~gogreek/ do a good job (IMHO) my only complaint about the UofA site is that the membership and scholarship statistics page hasn't been updated in over a year. |
