Remember the Consoles
Saw a little flashback bit on the failed Virtual Boy on TV, so I decided to create this thread.
May the following bombs rest in peace: Virtual Boy Sega CD Sega Saturn 3Do Neo Geo Atari jaguar Sega Dreamcast And may the following be forever remembered for the memories they inspired during our youth: Intellivision Commodore 64 8 Bit NES Sega Genesis Playstation 1 SNES N64 |
Commodore 64. YESSSSSSSS!
Don't leave out ColecoVision. |
Any others I forgot? I know I left out a bunch.

Not sure if something like this is what you had in mind?
http://www.gameland.gr/geoanas/images/hand_blip.jpg It's called "Blip" and it was the big thing when I was (roughly) ten or so. Around 1977. It's a handheld game and you'd try to hit the ball (really a red dot) back and forth for as long as possible. At least I think that's what you were supposed to do. I thought it was very sophisticated, though! |
Oh goodness! I had a Commodore 64! I had Wheel of Fortune and that game based on a TV game show where the screen had shapes and faces that equaled up to a phrase or person that popped up one at a time. Can't remember the name.

My elementary school used Commodore 64s!!! Also, circa 1989/1990 or so, my cousin bought a first generation Game Boy. I think he still has it. He's 27 now.

I said it in the other thread, but if I actually had the time to play it, I'd hunt down an SNES. That was a great system. |
