Bid Day Theme Ideas
 

Hey girls, I don't know if everyone does Bid Day the way we do at Long Beach, but we usually have a theme and a slogan t-shirt to give to the new pledge class.

for example: my Bid Day theme was Hot Wheels, but the t-shirt said Hot Girls, and one year we did a princess theme and the shirt said Another Class Takes the Throne, and last year we just decorated in blue and pink and the shirt said Class is More than Something You Attend

If any of you do the same I was wondering what some of your themes and t-shirt slogans have been or if you have any ideas. Thanks a million!

last year ours were "Fly Gamma Phi, always first Class".

I thought that was clever.

That would be kind of a cool theme - maybe mimic an airline logo, you could have some fake flight attendants, make the nametags like pilot wings...

On Scholarship/Skit Day during formal recruitment this past week, The ladies of Zeta Sigma presented the "2005 Gammy Awards" with special performances by Gwen S. & Ashlee Simpson. Special Guest Included Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes, Nick & Jessica, Paris & Lindsey L. and Napolean.

We changed the lyrics to Holla Back Girl & Pieces of Me to fit Gamma Phi.... Word had it during that we had the best skit!

But to contine along with the Gammy Awards, our Bid Day shirts had the "Hollywod" sign scene...but instead it said " Gamma Phi Beta" then underneath "Now in style more than ever"

Gamma Phi-esta Theme
 

Last year we had a Spanish/Mexican fiesta-themed bid day. The shirts were adorable, because on the front they said "Gamma Phi-esta" (with the writing making a sombrero shape), and on the back they said "Mi casa es su casa"!
