Barbara Bel Geddes dies

Just read that Barbara Bel Geddes died. She is best known for playing Miss Ellie in "Dallas."

Does anyone else remember that old Alfred Hitchcock Hour episode where she killed her husband by hitting him in the head with a frozen leg of lamb?

Rest in peace, Miss Ellie.

And then she cooks the leg of lamb and serves it to the investigating policemen. Great episode.

It was based on the short story "Lamb to the Slaughter" by Roald Dahl (yes, the "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" Roald Dahl). I found the story online here.

Barbara Bel Geddes was quite the actress.
