Having your stuff stolen...

So, apparently, someone jacked my chair off my porch last night/this morning between 10 and 6:45. It was there when I locked the door last night, not there when my little went to have breakfast with her pledge class at 6:45. WTF?
I wouldn't be so upset if it were just your average folding chair. But it was a nice one, with the AU on the seat back and the "Tigers" logo on the reverse, in a Mossy Oak camo pattern that matched my Mossy Oak shirt. Dammit! I want my chair back!

It's just adding insult to injury, since ONE of my hubcaps was jacked off my car a couple of weeks ago. There when I parked it one night, gone the next morning. Either someone hates me or there are a lot more shady people around here than I thought.

I had a gnome stolen from my yard last year. About a couple of months ago someone stole my squirrel statue from my front porch. The squirrels were returned a few weeks ago. Now if my gnome would come home.

But bigger than yard crap---- my iPod is missing. I have looked everywhere. I am now wondering if I left it in the car when I took the car into the shop last week to get a new car battery. I miss my iPod.

My freshman year I was a DJ at the school's radio station. The DJ booth was right across from the bookstore, and I would often go there to get a snack/drink. You couldn't take your backpack in with you, and they had some shelves next to the door to leave it there. I wasn't in there 5 minutes when someone had taken off with my backpack, which had my entire CD collection in it. Luckily, one of the cafeteria workers found it the next day with nothing stolen out of it. This happened a couple of other times with other backpacks, I guess they were looking for cash or something.

Spinning with CDs and top 40 at that is not being a real DJ. Who the hell do you think you are? Will Smith?

We had a partially eaten pizza and a kiddy pool ganked from our house when we were little. What the hell is wrong with people?

What was even sadder was the fact it was broadcasted over the internet (the school was next to an airport and somehow when it was an actual FM station it messed with their stuff) and NOBODY listened to it.

I left one of the back doors to my car unlocked and someone took my portable cd player, the cd in it and the change I had in the console. I didn't really care about the change or the portable cd player because it was old and cheap. But I had just bought that cd. I didn't even get a chance to listen to it all the way through :( . But I would much rather have them take the cd then the whole car so I got over it and went and bought the cd again.

I had my entire center console ripped out of my car because the thief REALLY wanted my $60 stereo... on my birthday.

Basically whatever I could get my hands on, which was a lot of techno and dance. I also did some work with Beck, Radiohead.

To get back to getting stuff stolen....A girl I went to high school with came home one day from class (she was in college at this point) to find her front door wide open and the house trashed. She went into the kitchen, made herself lunch, and then called her dad because she thought "the house must have been broken into." She's a very nice girl, but not the brightest crayon in the box. (A lot was taken.)
