[News] Peter Jennings has Died

Oh my gosh, I had no idea he was even sick. That's terrible :(

:( He got his diagnosis not long after my father-in-law did. Thank God that lung cancer takes people quickly because it causes awful suffering.

May he rest in peace - lung cancer is such a horrible illness. I forgot he was sick until reading that he died. It's good that he was given privacy over the last few months of his life; there really wasn't much out in the news about him since his announcement.

He was diagnosed around the same time grandfather was so it just seems extra sad. I think I heard a report today that Jennings' cancer had spread. :(

I got goose bumps when I found out. RIP, Peter, I'm going to miss you. :(
