By request these are being removed.

My goodness, it certainly must have taken HOURS and HOURS of visiting thespankingblog.com and sifting through all the different kinds of spankings to find these pictures.

You DO realize that sororities and fraternities are not the only clubs/organizations to have paddles, right?
ETA: Good grief. One of those pictures looks like it's from a bachelorette party in a bar. Those girls may not have even gone to college. |
What an awesome thread. :D

I just went back and read all of "Concerned451's" posts. What a loser. Who would believe most of that junk? And why would GC care about random non-Greek hazings?
I don't care to visit the spanking blog but from what you guys have described, it's probably a bunch of morons who wouldn't know a college if it bit them posing as sorority girls. Just like we believe that all the sorority porn movies feature real Greeks. I mean, what's the point? Are we suposed to get all up in arms about these so-called sorority paddlings? Maybe we should trace them down and report them to their supposed nationals, even if they did manage to snag some jerseys off of eBay? Should we shed a few tears for the "victims"? Anybody who believes this poop, I have some swamp land in Florida I'd like to sell you....:D |
Amen, Sister Carnation, amen.

Second of all, many NPC sororities have banned their members from owning paddles. If you'll notice, several of the pics you've posted are of sororities who are not even members of the NPC. There have been numerous discussions about rogue chapters whose behavior gives the rest of us a bad name. Thirdly, some of those pics don't even look like they're actually paddling the girls. They look like they're being silly for the camera and holding the paddle up w/ the other girl sticking her butt in the air. Finally, by my pointing out that other non-GLO groups have used paddling in the past (and, possibly in the present), I neither wrote nor implied that I thought it was acceptable. Get a grip. I think this thread is a prime candidate for being locked. |
There are very few photos with sorority letters in them (or fraternity for that matter) so how do we know these are "sorority" photos? They could be anyone. And how do we know that they're doing it as part of ritual or that it's even condoned by the members? Since most of the photos seem to have both men and women in the photos and most involve drinking, I can pretty much guarantee that they're not associated with any sort of ritual done by the sorority (or fraternity). And a whole bunch of the photos look like they're staged or the people are doing it for "fun" (not that that excuses the practice).
You can't take a bunch a photos from a website that "claims" they're sorority paddling incidents when you have no idea what the pictures are originally from. Just because they appear to show someone getting paddled doesn't mean that's necessarily what happened. Were you there? Can you tell us exactly what happened in each and every one of those photos? Yes, it's a shame that these types of things still happen, even if only in jest, but by coming on here and showing us, oh about 60+ photos (none of which can be verified), you're not really helping the cause either. |
What's your proposal to combat sorority paddle hazing?
|
 I bet I know who this is. John, IP check, please? And if it's who I think, I call for a ban.
