best freind / ex-lover
i am not sure if this topic has been posted before(honestly i just didn't feel like looking)
what if your best friend and your ex really hit it off and it seemed like they were not breaking up even though u are not down with the relationship. do you continue being freinds? Do you suck it up and move on. is it really fair for you to say that "he is my ex. if you are truly a friend then you know hands off?" just because it did not work out for you, should you not give your friend a chance at happiness? i want to hear all views. |

I know myself and I just could not deal with this (emotionally). I had a cousin once who dated a guy. They dated for about 5 years. After about a year after they broke up, another one of my cousins started dating him. Eventhough my cousin had moved on and was engaged to someone else, I still felt that my other cousin was bogus. That's just me. So, I think that true friends should respect each others feelings and not even go there. There are plenty of other men. I just don't understand women who can't understand that if he was ever my man, he is off limits and find somebody else. It just makes for a complicated situation. If nothing else, emotionally it would be hard. Especially if you really cared about this person. But, I guess it would take a self examination. If you are really cool with the situation and it doesn't bother you, then whatever is whatever. This is just how I feel about the situation.
