This is what they call love?
So, I'm having some major drama in my life right now, and I don't really have anyone to talk to about it because they are all involved. So, while no one here may care, I just needed to get it off my chest!
So... I have never been in a serious relationship, and after this summer, I don't really know if I can be. So, I have 6 really close friends that were all dating. We'll call them AB, CD, and EF. The first letter of each couple is the girl. OK. So A and B have been dating for a good solid four years now, and C and D have been dating two, while E and F have been dating three. All of these couples are very serious and each other's 'True Loves.' So, about 2 months ago, C cheated on C with F who was in the mean time cheating with E. A told D that he was being cheated on. So, that sucks really bad! C and F continue their relationship, while C is still telling D that she loves him, and still hung out with him, whatever. So, D is irate and wants to kill F. Mind you, they were best friends before any of this happened. Well, two nights ago, D came to my house at 4:00 AM to tell me that he couldn't get A to wake up and B was cheating on her. I sat there in amazement. Really what the heck was I suppose to do. So, there was some random chick over at B's house spending the night after random girl and B were making out in front of D and all these other people who are also friends with A at a party. So, I go over to B's house and take a picture of the girl's car so that A will believe me in the morning. I text message her, and tell her to call me when she wakes up (She is my best friend). She calls and I tell her. She flips out, drives to B's house and the girl is still there. So she freaks out on B and tells him that she doesn't want to be with him. Great. But now, she wants to be back with him because she was happy then but not now. I'm stuck in the middle of all of this. I don't know what to do. I don't know how I can ever trust anyone. Anyway. Sorry. That is my story, and I appreciate being able to post it here. |
C cheated on C with F who was in the mean time cheating with E.
--this part didn't make any sense Don't let your idea of what love should be (and it will change as you grow as a person) be affected by crazy people. If others don't know what love means to them, let that be their problem. You do you when it comes to a relationship and when you find that one that you love, do your best not to act crazy. Don't worry, just hope whoever you get with doesn't know ANY of these people :). |
I think the problem escalated when you took a picture to show to A -- I mean, I understand that you were thinking you had good intentions at the time, but all this does is put you right in the middle of the drama. Is that really where you want to be?
If you want advice, here's mine -- get away from these crazy ass mofos and find yourself some new friends who aren't cheating with your other friends or who aren't going to waste precious hours of your life whining to you about how they're miserable because they were stupid enough to take back their asshole boyfriend who was cheating. Run. Run far away. I suspect that everyone in this scenario is much too young and clueless to be in a long term relationship anyway. They should all break up and move the hell on. |
Personally I think all those relationships have run their course and all of the above-mentioned friends/boyfriends/girlsfriends need to move on.
Tell them to read the book "Who moved my cheese?" .. Seriously. It's a quick 20 minute read...A especailly needs to read that b/c wants to be back with B b/c she was happy with him before he cheated on her. |

I am getting away. I leave for school tomorrow. In a way, I am glad, but I also feel like I am stranding her. Not much I can do, though. Thanks for your all's advice :) |

And I think I would want someone telling me if that was happening to me. I would seriously rather have someone tell me than me find out about it some other way farther down the road. So I can see where you're coming from. You can still be there for her even though you're leaving for school (phone calls, etc) but seriously, she needs to get out of that relationship ASAP and move on. I'm guessing she will probably be leaving for school too (?) and there are too many cutie college boys out there to stay with a cheating loser :) Good luck! |
She's going back to school soon, but she goes to school at a college near home--with him, and they have every single class together. I think she is going to get back with him.
And... I am going to get her the book "Who Moved My Cheese" or whatever it is, and put it in her mailbox tomorrow before I leave to go back to school. (She works all day) |

Well, I kinda messed up. F was cheating on E with C. C was cheating on D with F.
|
This is like one of those math problems were you do the equations of A and C equal whatever. :p
|
lol... no math involved. Thank goodness. Anyway, A called me this morning and said she is not going to take B back! Good news. I'm going out today (on my way back to school, YAY) to go buy that Who Moved my Cheese book, and I am going to take it to her at work. I hope she can be strong and move on!

It will probably be rough since they have every single class together, but hopefully she can pull through. And yay for the book. You can probably get a copy on ebay for $2 if you haven't got it already. It's a quick simple story that you can apply to any situation... a coworker let me borrow her copy and it was pretty good. Anyway, best wishes to all of you! |
