Bad Attitude
 

Do any of you guys have any GLO'S with a bad attitude that affects the Greek Community? Possibly turning off PNM from joining any organization?

There's one group on my campus - who has the reputation among the other greeks as being @$$h*les. Actually, I should say it's their PRESIDENT who is such a jerk, because he makes the whole group look bad, even though I know most of the guys are pretty nice guys. If I were in their shoes, I wouldnt want a president who gave us such a bad rep. He was a VERY poor sport during greek week (yeah, everybody wants to win, but the president of that org shouldnt be screaming at his new members telling them they are worthless). My sorority got the High Greek GPA award this year, and he made the comment how "Yeah, no wonder they got it, there's only 6 of them to factor into the score." Guess what buddy? We got the award AFTER having two members with REALLY bad grades (who unfortunately, are not members anymore) factor into that score, so that must mean the other 6 of us did a darn good job if we managed to STILL get the award. And then he has the audacity to email me and say "Hey we're having a party this weekend, a couple of the guys are turning 21. Bring your sisters." Dude, we dont wanna hang out with you cause you're rude to us. We'd rather party with groups that actually like us.

On my campus, it's the jersey trash that gives greeks a bad name. There are two frats they all join and no one likes them but other people from jersey. Unfortunatly, a lot of new people look at frats as going gotti and don't want to have anything to do with it.

I don't think we have that...things can get kind of sour during recruitment. There's the old stereotypes, but it's mostly the guys reinforcing them.

I don't understand where you are going with this. I assume you're having problems at your school.

It would be very helpful if you would list the name of your school and the trouble GLOs.
