NCAA 2005 Rankings. Go Gators!!
|
cash, i wouldn't put too much stock into these predictions. even if they do come to pass, florida will not win the sec, according to this poll. and they are going to finish 8th with a brand new coach?
even more farfetched is that fsu will be 11th-heck, we don't even know who our quarterback will be!! despite all that, i am getting excited for college football season to begin. and go noles!! |
the SEC has 5 teams in their top 10? Crazy!
I'd like to add that there is no way in hell LSU is more talented than USC. LSU can't even hold USC's jock, and those bitches got lucky in 2004. wait, USC did lose ALOT on defense and no more Norm Chow. ...but still Reggie Bush, Matty, Jarret, Byrd, White, a returning O line, Steve Smith, Whitney Lewis!!!!! |
I'm just getting excited for the season. I was in Gainesville for the spring game and I'm already drooling for the season.
*we're so going to kick FSU's ass this year.* |
Iowa at 18? We shall see . . . I don't get how you finish 9th three years in a row, then somehow drop 9 spots when a.) you'll be healthy for the first time in years and b.) only lost significantly on the d-line . . . where you have monster prospects moving in to fill . . .

UConn #60...let's go Huskies!
|
Well, I like seeing Pitt in the top 25 (even though I'm pi$$ed at the school for running Walt Harris out of town on a rail) but I'm not sure how realistic that'll be. We shall see...
Maybe it makes me a bad person, but I'm glad to see Navy all the way down at 89 after listening to Mr. KR gloating last year when they finished ranked ahead of Pitt. hehe |
GO USC!
|
Well, my Ole Miss is #44...that's okay! We have a new coach and so I'm more interested in seeing what Coach Orgeron can do for Ole Miss! (fun fact: his wife is an AOII alumna from Sigma Omicron Chapter (Arkansas State). :)
BTW: We beat Florida two years in a row in the past 5 years :) just a fact not an insult! Although, I'm always happy to see the SEC representing as a powerhouse conference! |

There's no need for that comment, you guys have always been a shitty team but just happen to catch us on our lazy Gator Dayz. Correct me if wrong but Ole Miss has beaten us 6 times since 1932, the rest Florida has won (over 70 years). |

West Coast guy here, but I have to say that my favorite conference to watch is the SEC. Not because of the quality of play, but because the fans are just nuts!!!!! For some reason I've always been an Ole Miss fan. Easily my favorite team in the SEC. |

Actually, you are a bad team. I think your last championship was in 1961. And the only reason why you even beat us at all was because we had a lunatic coach that was too busy getting in fights at frat houses instead of doing some real coaching. And for the record, Eli Manning wasnt much of a QB. He was lucky in the sense that he was playing QB at a time when many SEC teams were having a lot of problems when compared to their ordinary status over the years. So go ahead an hold your breath, you're going to pass out when you see our offense this year anyways. ETA: Not an insult, just a bunch of facts. |

Ole Miss leads the series, all-time, at 11-9-1. the two teams met once in 1926, before there was an SEC, with Ole Miss taking the victory. i look forward to seeing any future games between Spurrier's gamecocks and Coach O's Gators. i don't think they have a match this year, though. also can't wait to see Fulmer-Spurrier and Tenn vs. the SEC. Tennessee's dominance of the annual game against Kentucky isn't really a rivalry, but i always hope UK could pull out a W. "hope springs eternal." Kentucky also meets a good Big East team in the UofLouisville to start the season off. |
Too bad we don't play Florida this year...
