Quill

I have a very plain, sterling silver Quill, and I would LOVE to get it upgraded. I was wondering how I would go about doing this, and what stones I would be able to use *and how much it would cost*. I really want a white gold version of this (photoshopped to what I want- alternating sapphires and topaz like the original, or all diamond, which I couldn't do!) ]https://web.utk.edu/~alphaxi/pictures/quill.jpg
Is this something that HQ would have to do, or could I go through an independant jeweler?...my mom has diamonds that she could give me to put in as the stones :D

All you have to do is contact HQ since they are the only one's allowed to order them from Master of Design. That Quill looks so pertty. Wish we could you them. As the stones only diamonds and perals are allowed by National. The price for an all peral one is about $165 all diamond not sure (I think its $40 for each diamond). The the peral one is about $140

I love the quill that you designed! But flirt5721 is right, we can only have pearls and diamonds. The easiest way to get a new one is to contact Fraternity Headquarters and talk to your area's Member Services Coordinator. They'll send you the right paperwork and you can choose what you want.

I know that there is an extra charge for white gold, and the diamonds are a per diamond price. I think I priced out a white gold all diamond quill once and it was $400 or $500 dollars. Way out of my price range but if you've ever seen one (our National President and Executive Director each have one) they are absolutely beautiful!

Hope this helps! Good luck!

Jumping in here....

I had a friend in college who was an AZD, and her mother took her quill to their family jeweler to have it "blinged" out.

She had her birthstones placed in it as a surprise. My friend was VERY surprised. (her birthstone was emeralds).

I don't know if that is keeping with AZD specifications...but if it is, you can check that route. I was a bit expensive if I remember, but they could afford it :).

ETA: This was about 20 years ago!!
