While he was there, did he have too much to drink one night and die of alcohol poisoning so we don't have to hear about his ass any more?

He'd only get a bid if he brought Hermione to a party.

I have the feeling we're not quite that lucky!

do they have fraternities in England?

PM_Mama00 07-17-2005 02:38 AM

Oooohhhh which frat?

I can't wait for these Harry Potter stories to be over. I don't understand the ADULTS who are so incredibly obsessed with these childrens' books.

moe.ron 07-17-2005 06:39 AM

He was hazed

docetboy 07-17-2005 07:41 AM

Yea, he was definitely hazed. Check out that lightning brand on his forehead...worse than cattle.

Not quite... but many of the universities in the UK are residential colleges; when you declare a major you also enroll as a member of that particular college. You not only take classes in the college, but also eat and sleep there. Loyalties to residential colleges are almost like fraternities and sororities in a way; instead of Greek-letter organizations many proudly boast their affiliation with Kings College or Queens College, which are part of Oxford University.
