Question for the Ladies: Can anyone recommend a good top coat?

This is a beauty question for the ladies: Does anyone know of a good top coat? I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks

:)

Sache Vite is the BEST top coat ever. You can find it at Beauty Brands or somewhere like that-- it is about $10 a bottle. It is super hard-- like clear, liquid concrete!!

I agree, Seche Vite is wonderful stuff, and it dries fast.

But does it chip off? No matter what I use or what I do, EVERYTHING chips off the next morning. Even when I've gotten a manicure at a nail place. If this works, it'll be worth the $10.

I've never found a polish that didn't chip off of my nails. When I was having acrylic nails done, the tech said it was because my nails were very oily and there really wasn't anything that could be done about it. It's bizarre because it doesn't just chip a little, it comes off in sheets.

If there is an Ulta nearby, I use their topcoat. I never paint my fingernails anymore for the sheer fact that they peel the next day. But I used it once for a try and my polish was good for a good 5 days.

No- mine never does. I do use pure acetone on my nails to remove old polish- or just to clean them off if my nails are already bare. Get the acetone from the hardware dept-- not just nail polish remover with acetone. The acetone will remove the oil from the nails.

I have the exact same problem. I just don't even try to paint my nails anymore. Plus, I play the guitar, so most of the time, I really don't have long nails anymore (I used to have gorgeous nails, natural and everything....but alas....)

Nail Tek works pretty good.
