Road Trip

I'm heading to Louisville for a long weekend. Hope everyone has a safe one!

Beryana, if you're around any night this weekend give me a call on my cell. I've got some stuff to send you!

Have a safe trip. Whole fam or you and the boys or just you? (I can dream right?)

Just me, N & K this time. Next week it's the family vacation :)

Have fun on your trip!

I am also planning a road trip and I was wondering if anyone had any advice. I live in Tulsa (OKLAHOMA :) ) and will drive with my husband to Nashville for a very exciting appointment I have there. The normal route is Tulsa to Little Rock to Memphis to Nashville, but I am willing to deviate from the main path if there is something good to see.

I know when I am in Nashville I want to tour the new HQ in Brentwood. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I have been there once, for the AOII convention in the early 90s and I stayed at the Opryland hotel.

I have already visited the AOII chapter at Rhodes College in Nashville (to initiate a friend as an AI.) I will definitely visit Vanderbilt since I am obsessed with college campuses. I think Ole Miss is just an hour south of Memphis, right? Is that an easy side trip to make do you think? I am sure it would be worth it to visit Ole Miss. It sounds like my kind of place.

I'd love any advice or suggestions, though. We'll be going for a long weekend in August. Thanks!

I'm taking a road trip next weekend to Cedar Rapids, IA to visit a really good friend (my first Saturday off since the beginning of May I think!!). I haven't seen Kellie or Kim in about a year so this will be fun (and I'm going to have the first coat of polyurethane down on the dining room floor so it can dry while I'm gone! LOL).

I'll give you a call this weekend Christin! Have fun!!

Road Trip pt. 2

We're heading out later today on the family vacation and should be back whenever we get home (the joys of driving vacations, right?) Would you believe I'm even entering the state of NC willingly and even staying there a couple of nights?

I may be able to get online occasionally if needed. If there's a problem in here, the usual suspects can give me a call :)

Roses,
Christin

Rhodes (Kappa Omicron) is in Memphis, TN :)

The members come back on August 12. Until then the house is being spruced up and cleaned and all that jazz. We are about 1:25 minutes south of Memphis. Very easy drive on I-55 south and then you get off at the Batesville, MS Hwy 6 exit to go to Oxford which is about 28 miles from Batesville.

Thanks OMG and duh of course I meant Memphis, not Nashville.
