Recruitment Skits
 

This year is the first year at my school we have to do skits during recruitment. It is during the 2nd or 3rd round...I forget.
I sent in a stupid skit that I now hate, and I want to chnage it (Greek Advisor said that's fine).
Can anyone give me a skit idea or something you have done bc I have NO idea what is expected of me here.

Looking in your Sigma Recruitment Planner...there are a bunch of skits in there...I know some are a tad outdated but you can always add your own twist on to them.

You can even just call Executive Office directly and they can direct you to the right person. They will most likely e-mail you a copy (that is what they did for me).

What exactally is a recruitment skit? I don't think we use them... but I sure do hear a lot about them on here. Maybe we call them by a different name.

A skit is a short play and information about Sigma is incorporated into it. For example...there is one called the Grease skit and it is based off of the movie Grease and the script talks about sisterhood and we sing about it while doing this ridiculous dance :)

It is basically a fun way to introduce your sorority to PNMs but you have to be careful about what skit you do. It can really make or break your recruitment. It is best to pick something easy that is fun for the PNMs and for the initiates as well.

I called national headquarters back in spring and asked about a skit and they head NO idea what I was talking about? How weird is that
